MEMBERSHIP MEETING MINUTES
Ruth Harris gave a presentation on Tracking.
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 pm by President
Karen Gibson.
Marc Crews made a motion to accept the minutes of the
September meeting as printed in the newsletter.
The motion was seconded by Jana Davis and passed by the membership.
President – No report
Treasurer – Karen reported the account balances
in Barbara’s absence. Regular checking
$2,595.66, Agility checking $10,754.92, CD’s $17,205.44 and $11,386.38. CD’s mature on 1/11/09 and are earning 2/4%.
Vice-President – Lori Finlayson reported there were
360 entries for the Art Show. The
t-shirts will be available for sale at Paws in the Park. Lori also reported
information about the 2009
Secretary – No report.
Charles Simmons reminded everyone of Paws in the Park on
October 18 at Jenks Riverwalk. Sa
New members voted in were Jim Harber, Carol Minden, Jamie
Wooley and Steve Schroeder.
Marc Crews made a motion that the logo on the new MCKC
business cards be adopted as the club logo.
Phyllis Simmons seconded and the motion was passed by the membership.
Membership in OAIA was discussed and tabled until the
next meeting.

AWARD NOMINATIONS
& CHAMPIONSHIP PLAQUE INFORMATION
Nominations for the Betty Charles Award and
the MCKC Good Sportsmanship Award will be made at the November meeting. If you want to nominate someone plan to be at
the meeting. Nomination forms will be
handed out and collected at the meeting - NO nominations will be
accepted by mail. Nominees will be printed in the December Newsletter &
voting will be at the December meeting.
Championship or
Obedience Title Plaque Information
If you have completed the requirements for an
AKC championship, obedience, or agility title for your dog(s) fill out the form
below. If you have more than one, please
fill out a separate form for each dog.
The dog must have completed his/her title between June 16th,
2007 and June 15th, 2008.
Forms must be turned in at the December meeting or sent to Karen Gibson No
Later Than December 9th, 2008. Please remember that each member is allowed 2
plaques. If you have more than that, you
must pay for them in advance. If you
would rather make a donation to an animal related charity in lieu of your
plaque, please indicate that on the form.
Award Banquet Program: A photo of your dog
and a short write-up will be put in the Awards Banquet Program. Even if you do not want a plaque, you can
have the photo and write-up in the program.

Gibson NO Later Than the December Membership Meeting (December 9th,
2008)
